Is this for real.....the best mothers day present ever!!!!

No No I did not get a toilet for mothers day......my son gave me the best present in the world this mothers day 7 days of no accidents whatsoever!!!!  I really have to pinch myself because I was getting to the point that I thought it would never happen.  I am not sure how it did in all reality.  If it was the fact that daddy was not home all week and he promised Skyler if he kept his underpants dry until he got home that we could go swimming or if it was the Princess Pull ups that he did not want to wear (I bought Princess pull ups because I got a package of 48 for 8.50 and they only had princesses) or if my little man just decided that he was sick of cleaning out his underpants or if he just decided that he wanted to be a big boy and give mommy the best mothers day present ever.  All I know is that I have been in heaven!!  We have officially been accident free for 11 days!!!  So so happy.  It has made it so much easier while Seth has been gone too.  He was gone this last week but he came home on the weekend and because Skyler had gone so long accident free for so long we got to go to the wave pool after Seth got back from taking another section of the CPA Exam.
It was a pretty great day daddy headed to Lindon for his test and sky, Risa and I headed over to Sutherland's.  The kids got to plant each a pot that they were giving for free and I picked up a gallon of paint but we got a free pruning set.  Seth was pretty excited about that.  It was funny because it for sure was a coupon day.  We had another coupon for free root beer float and Marisa had a coupon from school for a free Ice cream at the same place.  Then after that we went swimming and Marisa again from school had a free pass for swimming.   I was super sad but I forgot my camera but it was such a fun day.....especially fun to see my cute husband.  I know there are alot of women out there that have there husbands gone every week but I have to say that I am glad that their is an audit season (translation that there is an end)  It has been especially hard this time but we will make it through two more weeks without daddy.  :C  The really nice thing is that we have been calling him in the morning and in the night time to read the scriptures (because the stake has issued the challenge to read the Book of Mormon in 100 days)  But we have caught back up and are now ahead!!!  The ending date is July 2 right before the baby comes!  It has been so amazing to read the scriptures that much with the kiddos.  Sometimes a little bit of a challenge but they have gotten so good about being good and getting use to it.  We would always read but we would be lucky to get through a page.  But to make the challenge it is usually 2-3 chapters a day.  A bit of a challenge but it has been sooooo nice!!!  I love the peace that the scriptures bring and how much I have learned this time around.  So thank you to our inspired stake president to push us just a little bit harder!!!

I know super ramblings but this is our life :D  Wish us luck as we try to make it another week without a daddy at home.

Funny little things that make me laugh....

Skyler just the other day went to grandma's house and they got to watch a few cartoons while mommy was at mutual.  (so super nice of them to watch the kiddos every thurs)  But the following day skyler was telling me all about their night and that they watched Dora and Spongbob Squarpants...he said "I like Spongbob Squarpants....he has cool pants"  The things that this little guy says and thinks up make me laugh.  Just have to say love being a mom to this little man!!!
