Mersadie was blessed on Aug. 18 2012 by her dad Seth Oveson. It was so fun to have family come for this special event. We had to change the place that the branch met so we could have family come for the blessing. Usually because we are in the Spanish branch we have church in the RS room but for this day it was changed to the gym. It was so cute because in the morning I went to put her dress on and as soon as I got it on this is the face that I got. Like she knew what was going on and was so happy!!! I really think little people know so much more then we give them credit for.

| It was a beautiful blessing that talked about her name and the meaning of it. Mercedes in Latin means mercy. We spelt her name a bit different because I liked it more but we wanted her name to mean mercy. During the blessing what I was thinking of is how merciful our heavenly father is because he knew how much I really wanted another baby and through his mercy and our faith in him and his plan we have this beautiful little girl that our family is blessed to have. I cant tell you how much I counted my blessings that day and every day since that we have this beautiful little miracle in our lives. She just makes me smile all over!!!! |

| This is her in her blessing dress. I don't know why but I really love the puffy ones!!! :D We had little socks for her but they kept on coming off because her legs are so skinny that finally we just took them off because you don't even see them at all. |

| After the baby blessing skyler really wanted to take off his church clothes and did but mommy was the bad guy and came home and told him that he had to put them back on so we could take photos. Papa did the same but he did not quite get all of his church clothes exactly back on if you look closely...lol |
