So glad it is almost the end of the day!!!....please let my son live another day

I know the title sounds a lot more traumatic then maybe it really was but Daddy has been away for the last few days and today has been one of those days that I am really glad that I still have a son and that he is alive and well.

Skyler has been really good about staying in the backyard and playing and we have a make shift fence but if you understand it you can get out.  He has always just played in the backyard and I have not had to worry about him much because he just plays and plays.  So I generally check on him every couple of min.  I went to check on him and he and the dogs were nowhere to be found....of course I started panicking when I saw the gate down and that the dogs were gone.  The only comfort that I found is that the dogs were gone too and that they are pretty protective dogs so wherever the dogs were I knew that the boy had to be close behind.  I went a mad dash over to the neighbors and Risa went the opposite direction.  Still no Skyler.  As I was crossing the street to go back to the house there he was headed back to the house with two little dogs trailing him and barking at anything that passed.  What a relief!!!!  I was so scared....I have never had that scary experience where any of my kiddos have wandered off and we had no idea were they were.  It is the worst feeling in the world to think that your little one might be lost or gone.  Needless to say this mommy will not be letting our little Skyler outside in the backyard again alone until we get the gate completely finished.

Not even 20 min later I made dinner and I used egg whites and put the yokes in the trash....Skyler found them right when I turned my back...yep egg all over.  It was amazing how fast he got into them because I literally just turned and grabbed something out of the cupboard and there he was with egg and dripping it all over the floor.

About 10 seconds after I got him clean and he cleaned up the floor he was over by the plug trying to put the end of the phone charger into the plug.....thank heavens that I caught him just in time.

I am just glad that my little guy is still alive and here and well but I think I am ready for a day NOT like this tomorrow!!!.....PS Seth comes home tomorrow and every day is that much better with him around...so excited!!!

Little things that makes me laugh

Skyler today started smelling things he started with me and he said you smell good!!!   Then he went over to the couch and smelt it and said....this smells like couch...then the chair....this smells like chair....he smelt everything...it made me laugh so hard!!

This little man makes me laugh because he loves things that are spicy.  He loves the Flames Doritos, or hot fries.  There are very few little men that like things that are spicy but this little man loves it.  What is funny is I think that the little one that is in the oven loves spicy things too.  I have craved spicy foods and most people who are prego dont do well with spicy but it seems to hit the spot for me!!  We are going to have 3 lovers of spicy things I think!  lol

Little Moments with Daddy

Daddy has been really busy this tax/audit season and the kiddos love every moment that they get to spend with him.  Daddy came home for 1 1/2 hours to eat and then read a few stories before going into the church and back to work.  Even though during this time he does not have tons of time I love how he takes special time just for each one of them!!  We love our cute Honey and Daddy!!

A Girl!!!!
Yep the girls will be the marjority again!!!  It was really suprizing to me I was so sure that I was going to be right this time and it was going to be a boy but yet again I was wrong and we are going to have a pink bundle of joy!!!  We are so excited the only problem that we are having is that we found a boys name that we really love but the girl name we were really haveing a very hard time with.  So if anyone has any suggestions please please share!!!!   Because we have not found any that we really love.  I think we have a middle name but no first name.  The kiddos were very excited when we told them because the whole time they were both saying how they wanted a girl.  So we are excited for a little girl to be coming to our home in July!!!  By the way the ultrasound was really good and the fluid was good and our little girl was moving and seemed super happy.  So we felt very blessed to see that she was doing good and many of our worries have gone and we are just getting excited for the time that we get to have another little one in our home.

elephantitis

Ok not really....But man he did a number on his ankle.  On thrusdays at the church they let the guys play soccer which is pretty cool because they get all kinds of guys there to play that are not members which seth has been trying really hard to get them to come to church.  On thursday he came down just wrong on his ankle and well this is what is looked like on sunday!!!  Yep pretty nice!!!  He twisted it pretty good!!   :C

St Patricks day fun!!!

Daddy is in the middle of tax season so the kiddos moments with their daddy are a little limited but it was so fun because daddy went in to work in the morning on saturday and then we went and picked him up at lunch and we all went to the parade!!!  I will say I love being in a small town the parades are the best!!!!  Not super loads of people but candy and fun!!!  We all had alot of fun at the parade!!

skyler being his adventurous self as we passed the tire shop

After the parade daddy went and translated for stake conference so the kiddos and mommy really love every moment like these that we get to spend with daddy!!!

The big #7...Marisa's Birthday

Marisa turned the big #7.  I can't believe that my little girly is now 7.  Her birthday was on a saturday and so we decided that she could have a friend birthday party this year.  So she decided that she wanted a cowgirl party.  It was so much fun they played all kinds of games.

Gather the eggs...

barrel racing with stick horses.....the missionaries even participated during their lunch.

Pin the tail on the donkey....

Seth spun them one time for every year they were old....lets just say when he did the adults they were super dizzy...lol

cowboy....duck duck goose with a cowboy hat....

They spun the bigger boys super fast!!!!

And the horse pinata!!

We did cupcakes for risa's party because mommy is not feeling super adventurous these days....but they were supper yummy they were chocolate with rasberry filling in the center.

They had their cupcakes outside which mommy loved because it was nice and warm, mommy did not have to clean up much of a mess, and it was fun to have a picknick!!!

She had a really fun birthday!!!

Oh and there were......

Those bandets that came to the party...watch out they may attend your party too....they tend to steel cake and icecream...lol

Skyler Moments

Skyler has been growing so fast lately I can't believe how much he has changed in the last little while.  He has become a little man.  I will say that I love every little moment of this little man and I have decided that the 2's should be renamed from the terrible 2's to the Amazing 2's or the Best 2's or my favorite age of 2.  I love this age so much!!!!!  They are so cute and squishy and they say the funniest things and do the funniest things!!!  These are photos of some of my favorite two moments lately.
Oreo cookie face!!!  he really gets into his cookies!!!

he came over next to me and cuddled up on belle and fell asleep just like this!!  Before he fell asleep he said "cuddle with Bellie"  Nothing like a little boy and a dog!!!
Just kicking back after a very exciting day!!!
All boy he loves to climb in things, discover things, try out anything and everything that he can!!  He loves to take things apart and put them back together.   I always ask him for kisses and he always kisses both cheeks and gives me hugs.  He give some of the best kisses in the world!!!  I love my little 2 year old!!!

A little catching up to do!!!

Yet again time has gotten the best of me and I have gotten behind but now is the time to catch up a bit...lol. We have had some pretty fun things that we have been up to. We got to go with the branch for the last activity sledding. My kids loved it but skyler for sure hit his limit. We went up the mountain so the snow was almost up to his waist and he really I don't think liked that part about it. He also does not do so well when he gets cold. The nice thing though was we got to try out our new car up the mountain and it was so amazing how many things we were able to fit in the back of that!!!! Tubes, clothes, snacks....I was amazed!!! We love our new Ford Explorer. Yes they call it a Ford Exploder but the price was right so we could not pass it up. There were not tons there but the ones that were there all had a great time.

Skyler was starting to get cold in this photo can you tell?  lol  Risa was loving every moment.  She is my adventurous girl!!

Seth was such a sport he took the kiddos up the mountain so many times and this mountain was not small.  Lets just say that he got his exercise in :D

The kiddos and their friends sitting in the back of our new car.

This was the mountain....I know in the photo it really does not look all that big but it was very big!!!  Risa and her daddy went from the top a few times until the one time they were going so fast and hit the bump that marisa almost went flying off of the tube.  Lets just say that daddy did not let her go down from that far up again because he was so scared!!

This was one of the big crashes.  President Perez came flying down the hill and and the bottom was still the group that had just gone down.  I was really impressed how he jumped off and avoided everyone.

The branch members at the activity!!!

Skyler came in the door headed straight for his elmo and fell asleep just like this.  This elmo I bought for him at the store before christmas with the intent of giving it to him then because he loved it so much.  But he has not let it out of his sights.  The one time I hid it he went around the house calling for elmo saying "elmo where are you??  I cant find you....Elmo...Elmo!!!"  Hence he got it back before christmas and it has not left his side!!

It was a really great day and a super fun activity!!!
.

Happy St. Patricks Day
