Big posting day!!

Lots and lots of hair!!!!

So I know that now I officially have 4 or 5 posts but I was really proud of myself today I cut both of the dogs hair not that it is usually a hard or dificult task but this time it was!!! From all of the other posts below you will see that life at the ovesons house has been anything but clean and it is the same with the dogs. they were super matted and grose because they had all kinds of dry wall junk in their balls of hair. Needless to say we cut almost all of it off. I usually leave them with these cute little skirts but this time it all came off!! It is just there late summer hair cut. They are pretty cute even if they are a little hairless!!

Way Behind!!!

Sorry for the overload blogging but wow time flies when you are having fun!!! So below there are about 3 blogs from the last month hopefully I will do a little better once we have our big projects done. So I have to tell you one other interesting fact this last month I received a call from the bishop to be in the Relief Society Presidency and I have to say that I never thought the day would ever come...I am officially old!! He He So before all of this I think in total I had been in the relief society for about a month or two combined since I turned relief society age because I was in the primary or YW the whole time. I always said "The lord is smart enough to know that Relief Society is not for me!!" Guess who is eating her words now!! I really wanted to ask the bishop if he was sure but I knew what the answer was going to be. There was a shirt that I saw that was really appropriate about my feelings at that moment "I will go and do... but are you sure?" something to that extent and it says 99% Nephi 1% Lamen. So I got to conduct this month boy is that a new experience. My first day was actually fast Sunday. I didn't realize that you have a little moment in the end to have testimonies so the teacher was winding down and bearing her testimony and wam it hit me we have 15 min extra I started thinking about and realized that it was testimony time that was left. Thank heavens for the spirit or I would be in serious trouble!!! It all went ok but I will say that this is a new experience for me. In general conference in fact I would watch the General Relief Society Presidency talk and think to myself there is no way that the lord would call me to be in the Relief Society I am just not Sophisticated enough, or I am a little to silly, or I don't have the hair do down, and there is no way to get me into a dress suite......go figure I am sure this is one of those times that the lord is just looking down laughing!! I love how much you learn and grow though change...wish me luck!!

Service Project at Aurora Reservoir

We had a great day working at the Aurora Reservoir. We were able to put in gravel next to the walkways and take out all of the tough grass. We brought Marisa's tools and she worked so hard we were so proud of her. I think one of my favorite things is to see that little girl working right beside her dad. Marisa and Seth shoveled and mommy used the rake to spread out the gravel we made a great team!!! I love it when you have these great opportunities to show your kids how fun and rewarding work and service can be. Love it!!

Phase 2 House

So we started again on the crazy house projects. We figured after a while of living in our house that it was time to fill in the hole that was made because of the leeks in the house. The only problem was when we were securing the pipes seth moved them just a little and......Pssssssssssss yes another yet another leek. That was fun. The reason fot the photos of the dogs is because they came down while I was taking before photos but next to all of the door jams there is tons of sheetrock that is pulled away making some amazing holes. It is always fun to have before and after photos it makes you feel really good after you are done!!!

This is a photo of all of the mess from the popcorn junk that we scraped off of the cealing. I figured all mothers would apriciate this. I had a few dishes that I wanted to finish cleaning but we started on the project needless to say they really needed to be washed after this!!! he he

That is seths relieved photo after all of the scraping was done. That was not the end of it though as you can see there was popcorn stuff everywhere and dust to boot!!

But this week we are texturing and painting and this ol house will look as good as new!!! That is if I can get all of the dust out!! he he!!!

4th of July

You have got to love Watermellon face!!! :)

Happy 4th of July!!!

We had a pretty good 4th of July we actually diden't do tons and tons. We went swimming, had watermellon, played games and watched a little fireworks. It was a pretty great day.
