So we went in to the doctor yesterday and so far everything looks good. They did an ultrasound and the heart was good. Which was one of my fears that we would have a repeat of last time. It was pretty bad I can't think of many more times that I have been that nervous in my life...I was sweating bullets just waiting for them to tell me that something was wrong...hoping that it would not happen. It is really kind of funny how this time, on the one hand I have felt good about everything, but on the other hand my experience has me holding back not wanting to get to excited for fear of something going wrong. Crazy I know. It was really funny too because you have to love the OBG's office. They hand you these paper clothes that you would be better just using a sheet to wear because at least it would conform to your body a little unlike the paper. At the same moment that you are wondering if the paper will rip or if they could make the holes any bigger on the top, they are asking you all kinds of questions that supposedly you are suppose to remember as you are half naked.

I read this article one time that made me laugh and it was about how you should always bring someone with you to the doctors office because you only remember 1/20 of what you hear when you are half naked. That was one of those moments that you wish you were a rebel and tore out the page because it was speaking directly to you.

Everything did check out good and it was not a great ultrasound and she said from everything that she can see

Ok I would post the photo but it is a great bum shot and after my naked moment at the doctors office I decided against posting the photo.....lol

It was really interesting because as we were talking about my history she got this look of awe and even said about Marisa's birth, that it is amazing that I am even alive. "There are very few people who have lived through that. Most of the time in my experiences they have not made it" Ok so I knew this but to be pregnant and hear someone say this was a little eye opening for me. She also said it was a miracle that Marisa came out perfect. "you were really lucky." That was one of those moments that you knew that it was not luck....not luck at all...it was one of those moments where I was carried and strengthened from on high. I love those great miracles that happen in our lives and that we do have a beautiful little girl and that I am alive to be a part of her life on this earth. It is amazing how things work out for our good!!

We are going to go to a specialist in the next few weeks and they are going to do a better ultrasound that will check for other things more specifically and they are going to make sure that we don't have another baby with Trysome 18. If this is news to you that is what our other baby had. It is a genetic disorder where they have an extra chromosome.

We are really hopeful though and things went really great. What was really nice is the lady that attended us was so great to!!! Thank heavens for great people in the medical field to help all of us crazy folk that sweat our paper belly shirt and paper half towel through.

Valentines.....Spontaious....Love my cute husband!!!

So I have this really great husband that completly surprised me!!! He went and picked up some groceries on Sat. while I was with marisa at the primary activity. He came and got us and then we took him to his work. I came in the door and this is what was on the table!!! I did not even see it comming!! I love those moments...yes I cried. What can I say he-done-good!! I love the man that I am married too and am so glad that I get to have him as my Valentine!!!

Another big Find.....

So if any of you are wondering this will put all of your wonders at ease. Yes this is a crib. Not our house though. We found this crib on craigslist and I was so excited!!! We got this crib, mattress, and a bumber(which I am going to recover) this weekend all for

75 Dollars.

I have been looking and I hate spending more then 100 dollars on something that you will only use for about a year or so. So I was super excited because this crib has not even really been used. They used it about 8 times and then they had there baby in there bed ever since. I am so super excited because I love it!!!!

We also go in for our first doctor visit today. Yes I know crazy that I have not gone in yet....what can I say I am a little chicken after our last two experiences. But we will let you all know how it goes.
