Feast Upon the Words of Christ.....

We did it!!!  I know you are asking what we finished.... but we finished the Book of Mormon all together.  We had done it before with Marisa but this is the first time that Mommy, Daddy, Skyler and Risa all finished.  It took us a little bit to do it because we usually only get in a page a day.  But we made it.  So we were talking to seth's parents and told them that we were super close to finishing and they gave us the idea of doing something special when we finished.  I am so glad that they did because it was such a great FHE Night.  We went up the mountains behind my parents house and we built a fire Roasted Hot Dogs and Marshmellows Sang songs and More importantly we finished the Book of Mormon.  It has been so fun to read all together in the mornings it just starts the day out right.  I have been able to feast every morning with my cute husband and kiddos and it is amazing to me no matter how many times I read the Book of Mormon I always learn something new.  We also had a little testimony meeting and it was so fun to hear their little testimonies.  It was Such a GREAT NIGHT!!!
It has been so fun to watch my kiddos testimonies grow just like this flame that was not very big at the campfire if you add more wood to the fire continually it grows into a great big fire!!  No worries Seth didn't get too crazy with the fire.  But I love the Book of Mormon and how close it can help us come to know our Savior.  I love how it feels like it was written just for me and my family....and how each one of the prophets sacrificed so much just so I could read it!!!  I hope some day my flame will be the kind of bon fire the scouts make at scout camp!!!  I love this book!!!
My little man eating his food.  No worries Aunt Jeri he did not disappoint he ate 3 or 4 hot dogs and a little of the other things but those hot dogs he loves.  And of course he sang the Hot Dog song....Hot Dog, Hot Dog, Hot Digady Dog.....now it is in your head and you will be singing it all day long...muahaaahaa!!!

My cute honey that came up with the idea to have a fun picnic and who reads and makes sure we read every morning.  I am so thankful for such a wonderful man and example in my life!!

I would dare say she is the best little hot dog roaster around.  Her testimony has started blossoming recently and it is so fun to watch her grow and instead of just saying things she is beginning to feel what she is hearing and saying...I love it!!

Happy Face!!!  We Roasting

We broke out the marshmellows and lets just say we got a little messy!!

Skyler kept saying "I yike Santa"  As he mashed more marshmallow on his face and slapped his hands together just so he could see the strings of marshmallows between his hand has he pulled them apart over and over again.

It was one of the best FHE Nights Ever!!!!!  Now on to the New Testament.....  :D

Their is a monkey in the house....ahhhhh!!!!

Oh it is ok it is only Mommy's little Monkey Skyler.  We made the kiddos beds for Christmas and to get into Marisa's bed directly we put on a rope ladder.  This rope ladder became a swing very fast at our house.  The kiddos love it....and many times I will come into the room and their is my little monkey swinging on his swing!!  He also likes to yell out loud Monkey Monkey...and laugh and laugh!! They say the two's are terrible but man I love this age because they say the funniest things that just keep you laughing all day long!!
Fuing Fuing I want to Fuing...translation Swing Swing I want to Swing.  I hear this many times during the day.

My Son...Mommy's Daytime Buddy

Yep these are one of those photos that he is really going to love me for taking when he gets older...and it will be given as a gag gift at family parties but my little buddy is being potty trained...Wahoo!!!  He is such a big boy!!!

I went potty mommy!!!
Skyler and I are pretty good buddies during the day while Risa is at school we do all kinds of things read, do puzzles, play games, and just in case you wondered he makes a great dust mop...I pulled him around on our floor with the rope for a very long time.  He would say Again Again.  One Two Three GO!!!!
And we cant leave out the little toy that we always have in our hand...this time a frog, other times lego guys, lego horses or dragons, squinkies...etc.  He has such a vivid imagination.  He can keep himself occupied for hours with a frog and a rope.  I love his little mind!!

"Mommy...I, I, I Yike a Rabbit" Translation (mommy I am like a rabbit)  This he said as he ate what his daddy calls Rabbit food today...we both had to laugh.  I love how this little guy talks it makes my heart and every day so happy!!

Who am I......

I have always had a hard time getting into doing family history because it seemed like I never knew where to start.  Well we decided that we would start because we knew that their was work to be done on my dads side of the family.  I have to say that the spirit of Elijah is REAL!!  It is this bug that when it bites you just get super exited.  We have been able to find 4 family members that we can do all of the work for and a hand full more that needs to be sealed to parents or spouse.  It is so EXCITING!!!  I now am trying to figure out how to work on one branch of my family and well I am no expert so if anyone has any ideas I welcome all of them....but I have family that came from scotland and we only have the dad and his wife from scotland and it stops their.  I am not sure where to find the info that I am looking for.  Their are other sites that want you to pay but I am not sure where to get the other cencus info for free.  Any IDEAS???   Hopefully I will get a little help but it has been so fun to fill in my families info in the new family search.  That program is amazing!!!  I actually started indexing and that is how I really started.  Indexing is great because you can do only just a little bit any little sec that you have free on the computer.  It is sooooo great!!  But ya if anyone has any help I would love love love it!!!  It is so great to see where I come from and who I am....  :D
