Harvest Time....

Yep it is that time of year!!!  The time that I love...HARVEST TIME!!  This summer we have had a pretty good garden and these are some of the recent produce that has come from the garden.  We have had lots of tomato's and tomatillos...which makes....amazing salsa!!!!

We found one that had a face on the back of it....we planted a few beef master tomatoes and well they can get pretty huge.  They also grow in funny shapes sometimes.  Not sure which one but this tomato reminds me of some cartoon character... Maybe a Ninja Turtle.
This is the salsa on the Boil!!!  Yesterday I made two batches of what we call Americanized Salsa and one batch of Hispanic salsa with tomatillos.  Both of which are super yummy!!!  The one recipe is from my mom and I may be a little bias but it is my absolute fav that I have ever had...and the other Hispanic salsa I got from Sis Botello for the Spanish Branch in Cedar City also super yummy that is super good to put on Tacos that are fried with mashed Potatoes and cheese inside.  I know it sounds kind of interesting but it is supper yummy~~~
This is all of what we did yesterday 8 bottles of Hispanic Salsa, 1 Tomatillo Salsa, 4 Quarts of Stewed Tomatoes, 21 bottles and 1 Quart of Regular Salsa

We did pretty good!!  Risa was reading to Skyler while he played with is favorite toys.  Risa is reading so well!!!  But Skyler was so sleepy and it was so cute...lately his favorite toys are the Disney pirate figurines and being his daddy's boy Lego's!!

Skyler and his little Lego horse that he carries around everywhere!!!  It was a busy but good day and we got lots done...I was feeling alot like skyler but it was a good day~~ :D

New and improved!!!....I now believe

So you know how on the bottles of cleaners the make certian promises and well usually it does not work out how they say it will.  Our headlights were getting a little rediculous to the point that...well lets just say there was not much light comming out of them.  So when we got the airconditioner fixed the guy said that they recomended that we get our headlights done too and they were willing to do it for 50 dollars!!  Yuck $50 just to clean my headlights...ugg!!  So I was hoping I would find a better anwser at the jeanie around here that we like to call Walmart.  Well I found this

....for 10 dollars on the back it has a money back guarentee you just have to take before and after photos...so in my brain I was thinking (this is never going to work ours are rediculous...at least I will get my money back)

So here they are.....
BEFORE

AFTER
I was really impressed!!!!!!  Thank you Turtle Wax for saving me $40.00

On the Road Again....

With Seth's job alot of times he goes out of town on work and well this time he decided that he would take his camera with him because well he has not ever taken photos of his trips these are some of them from his last trip :D

I love the sky color in this one...so pretty!!

Seth gets to work with a really great guys at his work.  This is one of them.  It has been really nice to work with people who like what they are doing and are super nice to boot!!

I have seen this scene a few times on Seth's desk so I had to post it.  :D I am so thankful for a cute husband that goes to work to support our family even when he has to be away for a full week here and there!!

Boy dress up time!!! Over the phase...wahoo!!

Marisa has a toy box that is full of dress up clothes and Skyler has now gotten into the dress up thing...but the problem with that was that most of the stuff in that box was dresses or princess attire.  So Skyler would come out in whatever was their that was manly...I am happy to say that he still to this day has not put on one of the dresses.  I don't know what Seth would do if he did.  He usually came out with a cowboy hat or sporting large quantities of necklaces looking something very similar to Mr T or sometimes he would put on the Jessie (from toy story) outfit.  So a few weekends ago we were helping at a yard sale that was for one of the ladies in our ward that had a tumor in her brain and also cancer.  I felt so bad for her but she is doing amazing and they say that she has no cancer left!!!  Wahooo....I know sorry I got off the subject but anyways we were helping with the yard sale and I found 3 outfits.  Iornman, Wolverine and ............Buzzzyear as Skyler likes to call him.  Guess which one is his favorite?
As soon as I showed him the outfit he wanted buzzzyear on!!!
I love this little happy face...for a little while there we were going through a phase that mommy was not sure what to do about...the grumpy phase.  I really was having a hard time with this phase so much so that it was on the top of the least favorite phase list of all time from both of my kiddos topping the charts!!!  He would walk around with a grumpy face and no matter what we did he was still grumpy and had a scowl on his face.  For a while I was not sure if we were ever going to get over this one but then we had some help....I love how heavenly father helps with each kiddo we started enforcing smiling for everything...."we need to see your happy face...before everything"  It was actually pretty extreme....I need to see your happy face if you want a drink.  I need to see your happy face if you want to watch a toon, and so on....lol.  And with grandmas suggestion we talked many times about emotions and the effects that they have...But I am happy to say that he is my happy boy again and THANK HEAVENS...because he is so much fun and I love his little happy faces,  amazing hugs,  and don't forget the kisses on both cheeks.  I love love love this little guy!!!
Marisa had to have a photo too....Skyler cant just get a photo  :D  I love her little pose!!!

Time for church..

This is just a photo that I took before we went to church....they looked so cute and they were waiting by the door for me to grab the rest of our stuff before heading off to church...they looked so cute that of course I had to take a photo.  Man I am so glad that they have each other...so super cute together!!

BZZZZZZZZZ......Ouch!!!

Skyler had yet another first....one that I have not even had yet (yep I have never been stung by a bee or wasp) but he got a double dose of it.  He got his first wasp sting.  He was at a friends and those mangy buggers got his little cheek twice.  He was so brave though he cried a little but he did amazingly well.  It did help that he was given chocolate by his friends...they do say chocolate is a bandade and well it worked.  Another good note he is officially not allergic...wahooo!!!  So glad my mom is really allergic and so you never know if they will be.  Not that that is an invitation for Bees and Wasps to visit us but we for sure know that he is not allergic.  He was super tough though after a little he was even smiling!!  What a big boy!!
It is so amazing to me that he is smiling.  My little toughie!!!

Lets go ride a bike....

I know this is sad to admit but Marisa does not know how to ride a bike with two wheels yet....I know bad parents...lol.  So well she saved up money and was able to buy a new bike without the training wheals and it was officially time to teach her how to ride.  :D  So these are a few action shots of the learning experience.  We had a few crashes and some battle wounds to show for it...but it was fun to see her learning how to ride and in the end she was starting to get the hang of it!  Way to go girly!!
