slip and slide...skylers 2nd b-day party

So for Skylers birthday mommy pulled out the slip and slide that I found at the end of last summer for really cheap and well gave it to sky buddy for his birthday!! It was great we pulled out the slide and put it on grandma and grandpa's hill! Everyone got in on the action!!
This was kind of fun we got a lot of photos as the action was happening all the way down the slide. Risa actually got the hang of slidding down on her own but she also got thrown down many times too!!!

There she goes.....

AND SPLASH!!!

Granpa coming down the slide......

Grandpa trying to stop himself after lauching himself over the end and headed for the cement part!!! Americas Funniest Home Videos material right here!!!.....more of the same action!! :D
Go daddy go....is what you would hear the kiddos chant!!!

I give this splash a 10!!

This is my son really happy with himself...oh no what are you doing son??

No worries mom I am just drinking the water off of the cement..."nummy water"

Sky buddies party was really tons of fun and I cant wait to pull out the water slide again....although I dont think I will be going down it agin sitting for a long time!! :D

The Big #2

So our little man turned the big #2.....I will say that I can believe it but I also can't believe it!! Where exactly did the time go?? So we threw a grand ol party for the little man he wanted to eat "Pipa" translation breadsticks from little sneasers (ceasers)lol. So we invited my parents and family over. We really should have done a Cars cake because I think almost everyone got him something with cars on it or it was a car or etc. But he had that for his cake last year and well we went with the animals. We took him to the store to chose and he chose 1 mama horse, 2 baby horses, a cow and a Lion. It was funny I was not sure how that would all go together but he

really wanted the lion. So we got it but did not end up putting it up on the cake. Skyler at first was a little reluctant to open the presents but he got into the swing of it really fast when he found a car in the first present. The only (sort of) problem is that he wanted to play with the present that he just got and not open more. He was really happy with every present that he got except for the boring shirts that mommy got for me before and ofcourse we cant just give them to him we have to save them and wrap them up. :D

Amimals cake!! They are stuck in the mud. It was a yummy cake. Not much to look at but it was sure yummy. They now how this new line of cakes that comes with moose frosting and boy are they yummy!!!\

This is him singing to himself!! It was so super cute!!

He really wanted to pull out the cow!!

Nummy!!!

Muerdalo!! Bite it Bite it!! Their is this awesome hispanic tradition that you get to take a bite of the cake first if it is your birthday. He might have had some help when he was biting and got a little messy :D

Nummy Cake...I am not sure how many times I heard this!! :D

I am so glad that I have this cute little man and I love everything about him!!! Happy Birthday Little Man

Amazing Day At the Temple!!!

Seth and I had the awesome opportunity to go to the temple with this amazing family!! They got baptized about two years ago and they all were sealed in the temple this last Saturday. It is so amazing to go to the temple every time I go I learn a little more. This time I felt really really blessed. It was a little bit of an interesting excursion because earlier during Skyler's birthday slip and slide party I slipped and hit my tailbone. Not sure if I broke it or just bruised it. Either way it really made me wonder if the trip was a good idea. After a bit of thinking we decided to go anyways!! It was a bit of a oucher of a trip but it was so worth it.
This is the Galaviz Family. They have such amazing testimonies for only being baptized for 2 years they are sending their daughter on a mission and she is going to be an amazing missionary. The Parents and the daughter going on the mission received their endowments and the parents were sealed and then they were sealed as a family. It was so wonderful to be a part of this and to be in the temple. I was having a bit of a rough few weeks and it was so wonderful to be in the temple and the peace that it always brings into my life. It was so interesting to me though that this time even though the whole session I had to sit bending forward and a bit uncomfortable how much I learned. Many times the times that I am tried I learn the most but during this day it was a flood of learning and emotions and Wow it was so amazing!!! I love to see the temple...the words of one of my favorite children's songs but I really was singing that day I love to be in the temple...I want to be their every day!!! Oh how I love the temple and this wonderful family that were sealed for all eternity!!

Man they look awesome in white!!!

This is a photo with alot of members from the branch!! There are some amazing people in this photo that have taught me sooooo much!!!

Los Novios!! The Bride and Groom!!

Thank heaves for this wonderful Gospel that families do not end with this life they continue and that we can all be together again some day!!
