Busy busy....

I have decided that November is always one of those years that flies by.  This week I helped do enrichment and I taught them how to make carmel apples different kinds.  

This one if you cannot tell is Mickey Mouse....It has carmel under all of it , Marshmellow ears brown chocolate white chocolate, red sprinkles and recies buttons...Yum!!!  I made this one for seth

Halloween Fun

For Halloween this year we did all kinds of fun activities.   We went to the college and they had all kinds of fun games for the kids and yummy chili!!  The girls even got to paint their nails.

I have to say this is the cutest little gnome I have ever seen!!!

At Marisa's school they had a carnival too with some really fun games this was one of my favorites.  Musical Tombstones   Just like musical chairs but they had to lay on their coffin that had funny sayings  :D

Little Flower got really sleepy....I think Toadstool was really sleepy too after all  of the fun!!

The fun does not end there Marisa had tons of fun at school at her Halloween parade and also with their classroom games!!  It really was a fun Halloween and I think these are some of my favorite costumes because they make me smile every time I see them!!!  We sure had fun

It is so fun this year because grandma is at her school. So she gets to see her all the time!!! 

PS We went trick or treating until about 9:30 lets just say our little Marisa is quite the die hard...she can go and go and go.  We had to tell her enough is enough...lol

Luz Del Mundo and fun family get away!!!

A few weeks ago we decided that we would go up and drop of the last dog at the airport and with that make it a fun family trip that the gas was paid for....you cant get much better then that.  So we dropped off the dog and then we did a little suit shopping for daddy and we also went to dan and stephs house...which I was sad but I did not get any photos of.  But it was so fun to see them and let our kiddos play.  They seem to get along so well and you cant beat them running around the house saying thunder, thunder, thundercats hooo!!!!  After we got back Skyler has not stopped telling me how he needs to go to caid's house.  But later on Saturday night we were able to go to the Luz Del Mundo presentation at the conference center.  Our branch pres is so amazing and he and his group helped do the music for this presentation.  It was such a cool experience to be there with my kids at the conference center and be that close to the front I think we were 5 or 6 rows from the front it was amazing.  

This presentation is about Christs visitations to the Americas and the stories from different cultures and their dances from those places.  It was so so amazing.  If you ever get a chance to go they translate it into all kinds of languages...one of those being English...but it is amazing!!!!

 I did not get tons of photos but here are a few.  I really was sad that I did not get any of the Guatemalan dance but that was the time that Mersadie was so fascinated with everything.  She had her eyes wide wide open and was wiggling all over the place super excited the whole time.  She was taking in everything that she possibly could.

This is our amazing branch president.  He is so super talented  and so loving and kind he and his wife!!!  We sure do love them tons.  Elias Perez and Lori Perez

Skyler was a little sleepy so he slept through most of it.  The kids played so hard during the day.  Marisa made it through but after she told me that she had to keep saying to herself that she really wanted to see what was next  :D

Skyler really wanted to touch the water before we went into the conference center but we told him that maybe after.  So we had to take a photo by the water.  He was still pretty sleepy but I think he was happy that we did get to stop

And we had to have a few temple shots.  It was such an amazing experience to be there and while I was sitting among thousands and thousands of Latinos from all over the place I just thought to myself how amazing to be among descendants of the Book of Mormon!!!!  I will tell you there was some amazing power in the conference center and the spirit was so strong.  It is something that we really will have to go to again!!!

 

Mersadie.....

Mersadie is our cute little "Baby Cakes"  She has grown so much and her little personality keeps on popping right on out.  She loves to suck her fingers and grab anything she can get her hands on.  She is such a happy little one but again watch out because she will go straight from big mouthed smiles to rage!!  She is so much fun and I cant even say how much we love this little one.  Just recently she has started blowing bubbles and man does she become one amazing mess of drool.  She also is very good at spitting back up her food so we have to change outfits a few times during the day.  She is such a little sweetheart....she loves to have her daddy read her to sleep at night (mommy does too!!!), she loves attention, she loves to have her own personal time after a while and gives some amazing kisses...Skyler always says Yuck After!!!  It is amazing how well this little "Baby Cakes" fits into our family.

Oh how I love this little smile...it can light up a room!!!

More Photo Taking....

So I always wanted to learn how to take photos and with a bit of practice I think I am getting a little better.  This is my cousins baby and it was really fun to take some photos of him he is such a cutie.  But I think I have gotten a little better at taking them....enjoy!!
