Yesterday we had a great day. It was one of those days that as a mom you feel your kids or kid in my case really need some special time. So we went to the park, played games, took a nap together, worked side by side with some housework, and played barbies. As you can see we got a little creative with the dogs and barbies. It was one real rodeo at our house. Although the white one was her usual calm self unless you were playing fetch with the brown one then she comes alive like fire. Needless to say the barbie made 8 sec most of the time. Due to the great maneuvering of her team to wedge her in tight!! We had a great time. We finished the day off with daddy when he got home at 9:30 (yes I let my child stay up late so she can spend time with her daddy. If not he would only be a weekend daddy during tax season...and even on Saturday he works and gets home at 3) and we watched Hogans Hero's. Moldy Oldie but a really great one. We all climbed in the love sac to cuddle as a family!! It was a super great day. Here are the photos of the Rodeo!!

Fun warm day at the Park!!
So I have decided that my daughter very much got a double dose of the "Need for the Outdoors" from both of her parents. It is just something that she needs or if she dose not go outside enough we all start going crazy. Or as Marisa would say and says at very random times "Ahahahahahaha What you are Crazy" So the day happened and it was so nice and warm and we had a fabulous time. She got to play in the dirt. Which makes me feel so good as a mother and now there is a book that tells me that I am a great mother for letting it happen....this is on the I want to read list now!!! I am hopping it will help me with all of those mothers that especially when you have a new baby freak out when the Binky falls on the floor and you wipe it off and put it back in there mouth...and they give you this look of disgust.

Ok so that is besides the point I just thought I would add that little bit because I am so excited to read this book and share it with everyone that I know.
Today was so great and it was fun because Marisa was a Pirate, Camping, and a Fisherman all in the same day. Shout out to all the moms who came and we will have to have more days like that again!!!

The day the Tree FELL....
So It is officially no longer Christmas at our house!!! lol Megan don't be too disappointed. Also even though I am posting this now we got it down before February...yep that is right not tree decorated with hearts. Marisa and I had a great time taking it down and I just stopped and thought about the memories that we made this year and how much fun we had this Christmas. Not that I suggest that you keep your tree up as long as we did but it was so much fun to think about as we took down the tree that has the same ornaments that Seth and I made when we first got married. Also the paper made chain. Yes I know you can buy ornaments these days but man was this so much fun to make. So it is officially Valentin's season at our house now!! lol
