What we have been working on...

Recently we have been working on a baby quilt for a little brother...it has been so cute to watch Marisa learn how to quilt. She is doing great for her very first time. I know that every time I look at the parts that she did it will make me smile!!

It is so exciting because before we knew that we would be moving we decided to eat down our food storage. (who wants to have to move food) It has been so great because we ate it all down and of course we did not save the money from that but since we have moved here we have worked really hard to build it back up. We also over conference worked on our 72 hour kits and instead of the one bag we now have one for each of us. Marisa even learned how to use a pocket knife...her daddy was pretty proud of that!! We have been saving money to be able to buy medication for our food storage and we were able to pick up a few things...ok so I am sure there are a few people that thought I was crazy checking out with all of this medication but it is a pretty good stock. It is so cool to see how far we have come in the last year and 4 months. We still have a long way to go but we are getting there and it is so exciting.

WOW, awesome food storage. And I thought that our two packages of top ramen and boxed cereal counted. . .I can do much beetter. Thanks for the motivating example. And I'm so impressed how organized it is. I love that can dispenser thing. That's on my wish list.

I love your food storage. I can't wait until we're finally settled and can have real storage. We've done pretty good considering the space we have and we finally set aside a food budget and it's been great! good job on the medicine too, that's something we need to buy more of.

Wow! Good job guys - we've been trying to store too and it's quite a feat! Just a heads up though . . . watch your medication and make sure that you rotate it - weird things happen with expired drugs and they can have some pretty nasty side-effects. Using expired medication is VERY risky so make sure you rotate it!

He he, I can just picture the look on your checker's face - love it! What a great way to store it too - where did you get your can dispenser Free????
